The Galerie Matignon , founded in 1977, is located at 18 Avenue Matignon in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, near Champs Elysées, the Grand Palais where are held major exhibitions and art fairs in Paris (FIAC, Paris Art, Biennale des antiquaires …) and major auction houses (Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Artcurial …).
In an area of 300 square meters on three floors of exhibitions, the Galerie Matignon defends the work of living artists, sculptors, painters, designers, photographers and sculptors, internationally recognized and emerging. Traditionally dedicated to the French artist Jansem, under the pulse of its new director, it began to show the works of contemporary French and foreign artists and photographers in 2005, and decorative arts and contemporary design in 2011.
The gallery offers advice, expertise, evaluation and assistance to collectors and businesses. We provide documentation and certificates for the works of artists of the gallery. We offer acquisition and research documentation for the creation or collection development.
It is also possible to privatize the gallery for art events.
